Had a central vac in our old house. Put this unit in new house. Have to pull 50 ft of house out of wall then lock it in place. Turning it on is a switch in the wall. You cannot turn on or off at the end of hose you are using. Our 30 year old system had that feature. One of the hide pullies work hard and they sprayed it. We don’t use that hose reel. Have used system twice in six months. Way to much work.

Worked like a Champ from day one. Two years old now and still going strong I would certainly add a Dirt Devil whole house vacuum if building another custom home!

Always wanted a central vac - builder offered as an option - I am most PLEASED!!!!! The suction is awesome, the retractable hose in the wall makes using and putting away so easy. Works extremely well on the hard floors as well as carpet. Easy to empty container & love the garage hose and attachments as well. The wireless handle with on and off switch is so great, no need to go back to the wall to turn off or on. Happy with the low noise level. I strongly urge anyone that is considering this to make this upgrade, you won’t be sorry.
