Purchased a new house 10 years ago and it’s still working perfectly. One of the best upgrades we did. The extra car kit has been extremely handy as well.

Had the unit for 12 years with great results. Just clean out the tank and filter and it's ready to go.

Had a central vac in our old house. Put this unit in new house. Have to pull 50 ft of house out of wall then lock it in place. Turning it on is a switch in the wall. You cannot turn on or off at the end of hose you are using. Our 30 year old system had that feature. One of the hide pullies work hard and they sprayed it. We don’t use that hose reel. Have used system twice in six months. Way to much work.

Worked like a Champ from day one. Two years old now and still going strong I would certainly add a Dirt Devil whole house vacuum if building another custom home!
